Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice. Relaxation is achieved when we are free from muscular, mental and emotional tension. During Yoga Nidra, we train the mind through a series of practices to bring about the desired state of awareness in deep consciousness. In this state, the mind is relaxed and free from sensory stimulation, intellect and logic. Here, the body and the mind can completely relax. We will begin the class with a short meditation and then lie back onto the mat for the remainder of the class while you are guided by the instructor. Ideally, you should eat 2 hours before the sound bath or at least, no heavy meals just before. Bring Water & Wear Comfortable, Loose Clothing (that covers the whole body) Why cover the whole body? As the body becomes more relaxes, it begins to cool. If your body then must work to warm you up again, this may disturb the depth and experience of relaxation.
You can cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the start of the class. However, we understand that life happens so please reach out to us before you cancel to see if there's anything we can do for you.
